June is National Indigenous History Month and the 21st is National Indigenous Peoples Day. As the school year winds down and the weather warms up it’s a great time to learn about our countries ancestors and the legacy that continues on today. It’s no coincidence that we celebrate their history and peoples on the Summer Solstice as their culture and spiritual practices are steeped in nature.
I genuinely believe that if you’re teaching your children Canadian History it starts with Indigenous History. So check out these great resources to get you started!

This Month has been A LOT, but if we as parents really want to exact change we have to lead by example, we have to teach, we have to raise good global citizens. We have to let our kids see us learning too so that they learn to always be open to knew information, thoughts, and ideas.
